In the year 2000 we developed our first formal K-12 program, Sea Lion Stewards, a half-day marine science experience catered to the age group of the participants. Students watch an educational demonstration with SLEWTHS sea lions and researchers and then do a beach-clean-up on Moss Landing Beach. This program is virtually free to participants and services around 1000 students per year!
